Dr. Antonio Turner was born and raised a Hoosier in Indianapolis, Indiana where he graduated from Emmerich Manual High School.  He attended Indiana University where he received his under-graduate and graduate degrees. Dr. Turner graduated with an A.S. in Optometric Technology/Opticianry and a B.S. in General Studies with a Concentration in Math and Science. In the fall of 2003 Dr. Turner started the Doctor of Optometry program at Indiana University School of Optometry. During his time at IUSO, Dr. Turner held the role of Associate Instructor of the Geometric Optics course and also worked in the Optical Laboratory where he taught other opticians/technicians and Doctor of Optometry students the optical principles necessary to properly fabricate a pair of lenses. While pursuing his OD degree he took special interest in ocular disease. He completed his external rotations at Chicago Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Dayton Ohio VA Medical Center, and Eye Surgeons of Indiana where ocular disease diagnosis, treatment, and management were heavily focused. Dr. Antonio M Turner also cooperates with other doctors and physicians in medical groups including Progressive Eyecare. Dr. Turner has been recognized by the Indianapolis Recorder with the Golden Laurel, TLC Laser Eye Center for Excellence In LASIK, and NUVO as Indys Best Doctor.
